Plants aren't just our business. They're our family history.
It began in 1961, when Dick Brady started digging and selling native trees in the Westcliffe area. In 1969, Dick and Rhoda moved their family to Cañon City and opened Brady's Evergreen Nursery.
Their 12 children grew up working among the trees and shrubs. When Dick retired in 1994, sons Delwin, Derald, Dean, and Darren took over the family business and formed Brady Brothers, Inc.
The brothers carried the nursery forward, developed the Cañon City garden and spa center, and expanded to Salida with Brady's West in 2008. That hands-on family experience still shapes Brady's today.
